La Part des Anges

Die Zimmer sind für amerikanische Verhältnisse groß und für europäische Verhältnisse riesig. Sie waren großartig! Das Personal sprach nur begrenzt Englisch und wir sprechen nur sehr begrenzt Französisch, aber wir haben uns zurechtgefunden. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten!

Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local villages . A delightful breakfast was provided by our host Cecilia who was so welcoming, informative and patient with my efforts to speak French. Breakfast consisted of the most amazing pastries I've ever had (and I've had quite a few), bread, jam, cheese, yoghurt - all produced a stones throw away. The room was lovely, extremely clean (and I am a bit OCD) and our daughter had a little separate bedroom next to ours which I didn't realise when I booked it but it was great and she loved it (and us!). No TV but that was fine for me (I think my other half missed it though) and the bed and pillows very comfortable. There was lots of information provided on local restaurants and places to go/things to do. If we were to visit again, we would consider staying in a cottage where we would be able to rustle up some dinner. NB. I think there are some old photos of this chateau on some of the holiday websites - ignore them. The room we had was a delight and modernised where necessary (?The Angels) - shower, sink and cabinet etc but still retaining the stunning original features , e.g doors and floors.

We had a wonderful time at La Part des Anges. The hosts were friendly and we felt very much at home. It was perfect tranquility and we had an excellent breakfast every morning.

Excellent all round, lovely hosts and a beautiful house with garden. Really idyllic and lots of features in the local area to visit. A really enjoyable 2 night stay

If you’re in Normandy I highly recommend staying here! The owners are so kind and welcoming, the room was beautiful - pristine with so much character. And the breakfast was so good! I wish we had stayed for longer, do not miss this gem!

What a wonderful, beautiful place to stay. Cecille and her husband were wonderful hosts. The area is so beautiful and quiet. Highly recommend staying there, we loved it!

A fabulous find. Great hosts and the location was perfect to visit the Normandy beaches and to get the ferry home. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

La part des anges est une magnifique demeure, très bien entretenue tout comme les Jardins attenants. La chambre où nous avons dormi était spacieuse et parfaitement agencée pour une famille avec deux enfants (deux chambres séparées communicantes). Le petit déjeuner est copieux, frais avec de très bonnes viennoiseries. La Propreté des lieux est irréprochable. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, agréables et aux petits soins. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre (trop court) séjour. Nous recommandons chaudement ce B&B!
